What formats does NativeJPG support?
NativeJPG converts WebP, AVIF, and HEIC/HEIF images to JPEG. WebP and AVIF use the browser's built-in decoder (instant). HEIC uses a lightweight WebAssembly decoder that loads only when needed.
Why is my converted JPG larger than the original file?
HEIC, AVIF, and WebP use more efficient compression than JPEG. When converting to JPG at the default quality setting, the output file is typically 30–80% larger — this is expected and correct. The visual quality is preserved. Use the Email preset for smaller file sizes.
Does NativeJPG work offline?
